MACHA Café: Viale Francesco Crispi, 15, 20121 Milano MI, Italy

Not going to lie, those cheeky Italians are great at twisting your arm into getting wine pissed on your jollies. So, with my head hanging out of my arse, I decided to start my day the right way with a cracking Matcha bowl in hope that it’d clear away my vino hangover.

Matcha is high in antioxidants and can help boost brain function. I needed a bucket-load, so opted for a fruit bowl. To be honest I find matcha to be quite bitter, so I have to add a bit of something sweet to it. I enjoyed it, but I still believe that nothing quite sorts out a hangover like a portion of chips and gravy. I really should just carry a pot of instant granules in my traveller’s first aid kit for days like these.

Fell for this one like a right un. Anybody tells me not to do something, I have to do it. Me hair’s got an exotic ginger tinge in that selfie. Shocking as my true roots are dark brown. Turns out that my snap didn’t win their T-Shirt of the week prize either. Such a shame!
Obviously at this point I’ve got to remind you that since my visit a global pandemic happened, so check opening times before turning up. It might be takeaway only, it might not. You get the gist.
