Louvre Puts Entire Collection Online For Free!

For those of you who aren’t making the most of the surprise sunshine… before it’s set to snow this weekend, pull out your mobiles for a virtual trip inside Paris’s Louvre. The infamous museum, which I’m partial to exploring when in France, has gone and put its entire collection of art online for free. The belters!

That’s more than 480,000 pieces, including the muse behind me own natural resting bitch face, the Mona Lisa. Back in the day, I loved exploring the Louvre in person when I was an Erasmus Student, so will definitely be going for virtual trip down memory lane asap. I also need some design inspo for a few new creative projects that I’m working on, so why not the Louvre?!

You can view the pieces over at collections.louvre.fr here. It works best on a smartphone, and you can view the museum room by room with the choice of French, English, Spanish and Chinese. Go on, have a nice day trip!

Spotted any other virtual collections that I should have on me nosey radar? Share away in me comments, love.
