In Berlin, you’re spoilt for chuffin’ choice when it comes to seeing or doing creative things. This is how I spent one of my evenings there. I started in the late afternoon at the KW Institute for Contemporary Art. I was reaching for my camera before even stepping inside.
KW Institute for Contemporary Art: Auguststraße 69, 10117 Berlin, Germany.
New Manci Mouth set inspo right in front of my chuffin’ eyes. If I had budget, I’d blow you away!
This cool ceiling shot. I do like a good bit of brick. I think it’s because of my Northern heritage.
How have I not become an Interior Designer yet?!! I spend my life dripping over interior design and snapping furniture. That’d make a cracking coffee table in my flat.
I left the gallery and strolled over to The Liberate cocktail bar. It is quite a stroll too. You can easily walk off the holiday weight gain in Berlin.
The Liberate: Kleine Präsidentenstraße 4, 10178 Berlin, Germany.
The cheeky chuffers sell a ‘Brexit’ cocktail, so I ordered one for a laugh. It made the bar keep quite uncomfortable. Totally worth it!
My pissed up blurry pic above doesn’t do the bar justice. Its decor inside is beautiful and it feels 20’s glamour inspired. You feel like you’re in a speakeasy from yesteryear.
You can’t go to Berlin without having a proper Turkish kebab. OK, yeah sometimes I’m a Brit abroad – partial to a nice drink, washed down by a kebab on the stroll home! Seriously though, from the bread to the sauce and its fresh salad – kebabs are just tastier in Berlin! I grabbed this beauty from Mustafa Demir’s Gemüse Kebap on Hackescher Markt.
Next time I go to Berlin, recomend a cool bar for me! Drop it in my comments, love.
